Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Perform plant maintenance responsibilities during 2nd Shift (2:30pm – 2:30am).
  • Electrical installation and repair up to 480V 3‑phase circuits.
  • Repair a wide scope of industrial equipment including CNC lathes, mills, grinders, power press, hydraulic press, etc.
  • General plumbing installation and repair.
  • Routine HVAC repair and preventive maintenance.
  • Understand blueprint and schematic drawings.
  • General maintenance assignments.
  • Routine pneumatic/cylinder repair.
  • Assist with installation/relocation of equipment.
  • Carpentry skills to construct wooden projects and shipping containers.
  • HVAC maintenance and routine prevention activities.
  • Work overtime as required to complete essential tasks.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely.
  • Demonstrate precision measurement and blueprint/schematic reading.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team.
  • Participate in periodic training to maintain or acquire new certifications and skills.
  • Proper handling and disposal of hazardous chemicals and serve on the emergency response team.
Qualifications
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
  • Capable of working overtime and without prior notice.
  • Knowledgeable in safe operation of various hand and power tools.
  • Ability to learn, adapt, and function independently with minimal supervision.
  • Leadership qualities and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 25lbs. and sometimes up to 75lbs.; walk, stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, and use ladders up to 16 feet.
  • Technical Certificate or Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred; can be pursued during employment.
  • Professional certification can be waived for 5+ years of experience.
  • Candidate will be required to successfully complete in‑house Forklift Certification.
