Qualifications- Valid Class A CDL required; applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Current or obtainable non‑exceptional interstate DOT medical card required
- One year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last three years, or two years in the last five years
- Three years of DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential
- English language proficiency required for compliance with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
- Complete Penske employment application, undergo background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
- Work the required schedule and at the specified location; ability to maintain constant alertness and safety in a safety‑sensitive role
- Accept responsibility for personal safety and the safety of others
- Must be able to see and hear; specific vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Perform frequent movement (stand, walk, sit), use hands for touching, handling, feeling, and reaching; lift or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly and up to 100 lbs (45 kg) occasionally
- Legally operate a motor vehicle and frequently enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area
