The Princeton, KY facility offers Vacuum-Melt Atomizers for the raw material needs of the Worcester, MA forge Isothermal forge shop. Quality Engineer responsible for full compliance, product quality and audit of WG Princeton. Assure Wyman-Gordon's Quality systems and procedures satisfy government and customer requirements, and assure compliance of product shipped to contractual requirements.

• A point of contact with customers, regulatory, and government agencies on all quality related issues, and audits
• Maintain and update the Quality Manual
• Control and approve internal procedures
• Auditing of Wyman-Gordon for compliance
• Responsible for the audit and approval of subcontractors
• Manage personnel responsible for quality planning, release of product and raw material, and the final certification of product.
• Function as the Management Representative as required by ISO-9001, AS9100, AS13100
• Manage personnel performing source inspection, audit, and release of product from subcontract suppliers

• BS minimum, or 5+ years of experience in quality related functions preferred (Engineering degree strongly preferred)
• Training as ISO
  9001/AS9100 Lead Auditor preferred
• Knowledge or experience required in the following areas:
  Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, Control Plans, Systemic Problem-Solving Skills, Poka-Yoke Development and Implementation, SPC, System Audits, NDT Testing, Material Testing, Blue Print and Specification interpretation, Customer specifications and requirements, Calibration requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Quality based computer systems (NDT, QMS)
• Good PC skills with Microsoft Office applications, Minitab
