Production Manager, Production QC/QA
About the Role
Production Supervisor – Princeton, KY plant. Full‑time, third shift. Oversees daily production operations on the production floor of a manufacturer of quality crackers, ensuring smooth production, maximizing productivity, minimizing downtime, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Schedule and Work ConditionsFull‑time, on‑site role on Third Shift. Occasional flexibility is required to support alternate shifts and weekends.
Responsibilities- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to production workers, assign day‑to‑day tasks, and ensure production targets and schedules are met.
- Coordinate production workflows, monitor production lines, and make sure equipment and materials are available.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies during all production processes.
- Conduct training and development programs for new hires and existing staff to maintain skill levels.
- Lead and collaborate with other departments on continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or higher in manufacturing, industrial technology, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a production or food manufacturing environment, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- ERP (SAP) experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, quality control procedures, and inventory management.
- Excellent problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and decision‑making skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
