American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg Tele position at a 25-bed unit in Kentucky, requiring at least 2 years of experience and active ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

• 25-bed Med/Surg Tele unit in a community hospital setting
• Patient population includes inpatient, observation, and swing bed patients
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call or floating to other units required
• CPSI EMR experience preferred but not required
• 13-week contract

• Active KY RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg/Tele RN experience required; 3 years preferred
• Experience with inpatient, observation, and swing bed patients
• Proficiency in IV therapy, phlebotomy, blood product administration, central line blood draws, and peripheral/PICC line management
• Experience with telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and cardiac emergency response
• Skills in respiratory care including chest tubes, oxygen administration, and non-invasive airway management
• Experience with wound care, isolation precautions, and IV insulin protocols
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

• Fast-paced Med/Surg Tele environment with a diverse patient mix including inpatient, observation, and swing bed cases
• Self-scheduling is available
• Travel pairs are accepted
