• Plan, design, and implement the Spanish immersion curriculum for students in Kindergarten through Second Grade, ensuring alignment with state and district standards.
• Translate lesson plans and classroom materials into developmentally appropriate learning experiences in Spanish.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians through Skyward, newsletters, phone calls, and other channels to discuss program goals, classroom activities, homework, and student progress.
• Demonstrate proficiency in English to effectively communicate with parents and colleagues.
• Establish and maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes student behavior standards and effective learning.
• Evaluate student academic and social growth, maintain accurate records, and prepare progress reports.
• Identify individual student needs, develop and implement individualized education plans, and make appropriate referrals.
• Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to support program goals and improve instructional practices.
• Participate in professional development activities such as workshops, conferences, and seminars to stay current with best teaching practices.
• Integrate technology into instruction to enhance student learning.
• Serve as a member of a professional learning community, contributing to shared objectives and reflective practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Current eligibility for a K‑6 Elementary Teaching License (or equivalent).
• Fluency in both oral and written English and Spanish.
• Experience teaching in a Spanish immersion or bilingual setting is preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to foster inclusive learning environments.
