Crystal Cabinet Works is seeking an Automation Unloader to join our team in Princeton, MN. Since 1947, Crystal Cabinet Works has been a custom cabinet manufacturer located in central Minnesota. 1st Shift: Monday through Thursday 5:00 AM – 3:15 PM. Friday & Saturday OT as needed.
Salary Grade D: $20.20 – $24.40 per hour.
Job SummaryThe Automation Unloader is responsible for unloading cabinet components from the automation line, inspecting components, and loading them into a cart.
Job Duties- Possesses comprehensive knowledge of nomenclature and product knowledge to facilitate the accurate as well as efficient reading of paperwork.
- Inspects components for accuracy and defects.
- Unloads conveyor belt and transfers components to one of multiple locations depending on product type and next step in the process.
- Prioritizes work by job number, green slip or OCS.
- Creates green slips for parts which must be remade.
- Performs final inspection of cabinet parts per job to verify quality of product produced.
- Brings product issues and material concerns to manager to ensure meeting production needs.
- Ensures optimum machine performance by performing various preventive machine maintenance operations such as cleaning machinery.
- Demonstrates self‑motivation in the timely completion of daily/weekly assignments.
- Maintains a working knowledge of the various wood species and can differentiate between them.
- Ability to push and pull carts that are loaded with or without product.
- Ability to read and understand the computer screen.
- Ability to read labels and assures parts are unloaded properly from the automation line and loaded properly into a cart.
- Makes fundamental mathematical calculations and reads measurement devices, i.e. tape measure, etc.
- Inspects parts to ensure it meets specifications and corrects problems or prepares green slips for rework.
- Prioritizes hot jobs as required.
- Maintains the work area, machinery and tools in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
- Follows all safety procedures, rules and guidelines as well as notifies manager of any existing or potential safety issues.
- Ability to work well with coworkers.
- Fills in other areas as needed.
