Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM - 3:15 PM ;
Friday 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM
OT after 40 hours required as needed
Salary Grade B
$18.50 - $20.90

The Packager is responsible for preparing cabinets, miscellaneous cabinet parts and accessories for shipment by packaging them in cardboard boxes with appropriate internal packaging to protect during transit handling.

• Scans cabinets and/or miscellaneous products into a pack size machine for cardboard application.
• Measures cabinets 3 dimensions and adds 1” for packaging and communicates to Pack Size Operator.
• Wraps certain cabinets in bubble wrap, foam and/or plastic for abrasive protection.
• Places cardboard packaging on cabinets applying corner protectors, labels and tape.
• Determines pack size program, measures manually any unusually sized or shaped cabinets.
• Measures miscellaneous parts and pieces as well as communicates to Pack Size Operator.
• Packages miscellaneous parts and accessories with protective materials as well as prepares for shipping by labeling and placing on conveyor.
• Performs visual inspection on all cabinets, parts and accessories as well as returns those with problems to the appropriate production or inspection area.
• Works on moving conveyor line.
