CNC Operator - 1st Shift

Crystal Cabinet Works is seeking a CNC Operator to join our team in Princeton, MN.

Crystal Cabinet Works is a custom cabinet manufacturer located in central Minnesota.

1st Shift: Monday through Thursday 5:00 AM - 3:15 PM;
Friday OT

Salary Grade E: $22.00 - $26.40 per hour, plus $2.00 shift differential.

The CNC Operator operates the CNC Router and automated material handler to produce high‑quality products at required quantities.

• Receives direction from supervisor and notifies when more work is needed.
• Maintains work area, machinery, and tools in a neat, clean, orderly fashion.
• Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines and notifies supervisor of any safety issues.
• Sets up and operates CNC machining center/automated material handler to produce required quality and quantity of parts.
• Downloads programs, loads and runs router.
• Removes parts manually and places them on carts, inspecting for quality or program errors.
• Adjusts machines for minor program changes.
• Operates labeling system to ensure parts are loaded properly.
• Prioritizes hot jobs as required.
• Changes tools twice weekly.
• Prepares test boards and resurfaces cutting table as needed.
• Removes drops and scans them into inventory.
• Scans drops into job.
• Writes up green slips as needed.
• Performs daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance (cleaning, greasing, checking wheel alignment).
• Maintains knowledge of wood species and differentiates them.
• Makes fundamental mathematical calculations and reads measurement devices (tape measure, etc.).
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 2 years of related CNC operator experience.
• Ability to read CNC programs and operating instructions.
• Basic math calculations and measurements.
• Knowledge of different wood species.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Good communication and ability to work independently.
