Sanitation I

Cargill is seeking a Sanitation I team member to support our Manufacturing & Production operations within the Sanitation Management department. In this frontline role, you will clean and sanitize production areas and equipment to meet strict food safety and quality standards, using approved chemicals and procedures while following all safety and PPE requirements. You will complete sanitation documentation, assist with basic equipment disassembly for cleaning, and communicate issues to supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of production areas and equipment to meet food safety and quality standards
• Follow established sanitation procedures, chemical handling guidelines, and safety protocols including PPE and LOTOInspect, disassemble, and reassemble basic equipment parts for thorough cleaning
• Complete sanitation checklists and documentation accurately and on time
• Work closely with production and quality teams to support safe start-up and shutdown of lines
• Identify and report safety or food safety hazards, contributing to continuous improvement
• Maintain organized, safe work areas and support housekeeping standards
