Federated Co-ops, Inc. has an opening for a Propane Delivery Driver to work out of our Princeton Propane Location. As a Propane Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering fuel to our patrons in a safe and efficient manner. The right candidate will drive a tank truck to deliver liquefied petroleum (LP) gas to customers, deliver and install propane tanks at customers' locations, and install, repair, and service gas systems by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Delivery of product involves loading propane into the bulk truck and delivering into customers’ storage tanks in accordance with company, division, and location policy and procedures.
- Drive and operate trucks, vehicles, equipment and tools safely and efficiently by following all current D.O.T. regulations, company policies, manufacturers instructions, State and local laws and codes, and other applicable regulations.
- Tank setting, leak testing, tank management and repairs for LP gas systems as required by NFPA codes and regulations.
- Assist the Sales Department with calls and potential sales target areas.
- Maintain and paint LP gas tanks at company and customer locations.
- Inspect and maintain the bulk facility, bulk truck, and equipment continuously to ensure cleanliness, safety, proper operation, and a positive cooperative image.
- Document all work as required by company, division, and location policy.
- Be available and able to work on-call weeknights and weekends.
- Previous propane and CDL experience is preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Active CDL with endorsements preferred.
- Must be able to obtain a Class B CDL License with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and climb or balance.
The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee will manually dig trenches to install LP gas lines and will lift and carry cement blocks.
The pay range for this position is set at $20 - $30/hour. The actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications.
