The Accounts Payable Specialist plays a critical role in supporting production operations through timely, accurate, and secure AP processing.
The Accounts Payable Specialist will manage the full cycle of AP in a high‑volume, fast‑paced manufacturing environment
, including 3‑way match, vendor reconciliation, invoice processing, fraud monitoring, and cross‑department collaboration.
This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented individual who thrives in a structured yet dynamic environment and can work independently while supporting a larger accounting team.
- Perform 3‑way match for purchase‑order‑backed invoices (PO, receipt, invoice).
- Process a high volume of invoices and payments accurately and on time.
- Maintain vendor files, manage inquiries, and resolve discrepancies.
- Identify and monitor potential fraud or scam risks
, ensuring strong internal controls. - Assist with month‑end close and AP ledger reconciliations.
- Coordinate with procurement, receiving, and production teams to ensure proper documentation and approvals.
- Support general accounting tasks, including journal entries.
- Prepare audit support and assist with AP reporting as needed.
- Work within ERP systems such as Net Suite (strongly preferred) or similar tools.
- 3+ years of AP experience
, ideally in manufacturing or other high‑volume environments. - Strong knowledge of AP workflow and 3‑way match process.
- ERP system experience (
Net Suite preferred
). - Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
- Prior experience supporting purchasing, HR, or payroll‑adjacent tasks is a plus.
- Experience in process improvement
, workflow optimization, or AP automation initiatives. - Familiarity with internal audit or compliance procedures.
- Exposure to Quick Books or healthcare/manufacturing AP processes.
