Staff Accountant
Location:
Princeton Area (Primarily Onsite with Some Hybrid Flexibility)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a growing, privately held company in the identification software, security, and sound equipment industry. This is a newly created role driven by a recent upgrade within the accounting function under new leadership. The company offers a collaborative environment and strong opportunity for professional growth.
About the Company- Privately held, family‑owned organization in growth mode
- U.S.
-based distribution with products manufactured internationally - Accounting team of 4 (Controller, 2 Senior Accountants, and 1 transactional team member)
- Recently transitioned ERP systems from Sage to Net Suite
- US GAAP compliant
- Prepare and analyze cash reporting
- Perform account reconciliations and maintain general ledger
- Assist with balance sheet and financial statement preparation
- Record journal entries and accruals
- Support month‑end close process
- Conduct financial analysis and support reporting needs
- Assist with inventory‑related accounting and reconciliation
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience working in an ERP system (Net Suite a plus)
- Proficiency in Excel
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
