The Senior Accountant position will be primarily responsible for performing general ledger accounting tasks. This position will assume a broad range of general accounting duties during the month end close, including preparation of monthly journal entries and completion of account reconciliations.

• Prepare monthly journal entries, balance sheet and P&L account reconciliations.
• Review staff and intermediate accountant reconciliations and fluctuation explanations.
• Train and mentor staff and intermediate accountants.
• Run various monthly reports used to reconcile or analyze general ledger account balances.
• Assist in the preparation of account analyses for internal and external reporting purposes.
• Analyze and explain fluctuations and trends in balance sheet and P&L accounts.
• Work with internal and external auditors to provide supporting documentation and answer audit inquiries.
• Communicate with other cross functional teams including IT, Shared Services A/R and A/P, Tax, FP&A, Treasury and Consolidations.
• Other tasks and projects as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• 4-8 years of corporate and/or public accounting experience.
• Experience with ORACLE ERP and/or Onestream systems is a plus.
• Detail oriented with the ability to investigate and resolve problems.
• Ability to analyze and reconcile financial data.
• Knowledge of personal computer databases and spreadsheets.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Effective organizational skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a high performing team.
• CPA and/or MBA is a plus.

This role is hybrid between Princeton, NJ and remote. Office days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Salary Pay Range: $81,650.00 - $ USD.
