Position: Legal Entity Controller, North America - US Based (Eastern/Central Time Zones)

Legal Entity Controller, North America

The Legal Entity Controller, North America is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of financial reporting, monthly close activities, balance sheet integrity, and compliance with IFRS, internal controls, and local statutory requirements. This role partners closely with Finance Shared Services, FP&A, Operations, Tax, Treasury, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate financial results and continuous process improvement.

You Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA and/or MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting, controllership, or finance experience.
  • Proficient understanding of Finance and Accounting processes.
  • Experience working in a shared service model or matrixed organization.
  • SAP experience required.
  • Prior experience supporting carve-outs, integrations, restructuring, or multinational compliance activities is highly desirable, as well as experience leading financial process improvement, automation, and ERP optimization initiatives.

The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant's job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary: $ - $. In addition to base salary, we also offer a comprehensive total rewards package, inclusive of annual incentive pay, a retirement savings plan, health care coverage, paid time off, recognition programs and a broad range of other benefits.
