Senior Accountant Job Princeton area,New Jersey USA,Accounting

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Accountant to join our in-house finance team.

Key Responsibilities

Manage general ledger accounting and maintain accurate financial records
Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
Prepare account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
Perform revenue reconciliation and ensure accurate revenue recording
Monitor and analyze company profitability
Prepare sales tax returns and support sales tax compliance
Assist with financial reporting, audits, and internal documentation
Improve accounting procedures and scalable finance processes
Collaborate with the Finance Manager/Controller and other departments

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3–5 years of relevant accounting experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting
Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Knowledge of revenue recognition and sales tax requirements
Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
Experience with accounting software or ERP systems (Quickbooks, SAP, and/or Infor M3)
Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently

Preferred Qualifications

CPA or CPA-track experience
Experience in a growing, multi-entity, retail, e-commerce, manufacturing, or logistics company
Experience improving accounting workflows or implementing financial systems
Familiarity with inventory, cost accounting, or profitability analysis
Proficient in Chinese

Pay: $75,000.00 - $ per year
