Senior Accounting Associate

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Associate, Accounting Operations to join a growing global life sciences organization in Princeton, NJ!!

This newly created role will support continued commercial expansion and global cost accounting activities, with a strong focus on product costing, inventory accounting, standard cost maintenance, financial reporting, and process improvement
.

• Manage and analyze product costing, inventory valuation, standard costs, inventory reserves, and COGS
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
• Support SAP Product Costing
  , including standard cost roll-ups, component costs, overhead rates, BOM reviews, and routing maintenance
• Partner closely with Supply Chain, FP&A, External Reporting, Technical Accounting, Internal Audit, and other cross-functional teams
• Support new product launches, manufacturing transfers, and commercial readiness initiatives
• Maintain documentation and controls to support SOX compliance and internal control effectiveness
• Contribute to SAP enhancements, automation, accelerated close, and accounting process improvements
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory control and costing processes for greater efficiency and accuracy
• Provide support across Accounting Operations and special projects as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of accounting experience
  , ideally within a multinational publicly traded life sciences or manufacturing organization
• Experience with inventory accounting and product costing
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory valuation, and COGS preferred
• Experience with SAP S/4
  
  HANA preferred
• Strong Excel, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience working with ERP, reporting, business intelligence, automation, and/or AI tools
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
