- Manage a group of Fund Accounting Analysts and Associates
- Review and reconcile funds’ books and records
- Perform monthly and quarterly closing of the funds’ books with fund administrators
- Prepare financial statements and disclosures
- Review financial statements
- Calculate and review management fee and incentive fee waterfalls
- Review partners’ capital statements
- Review capital call and distribution calculations and notices
- Review fund expenses, accruals, and payments
- Review monthly investor return and NAV estimates
- Prepare and review quarterly and annual GAAP financial statements
- Review and support monthly and quarterly corporate reporting requirements
- Oversee and review compliance-related requests, including Form ADV and Form PF requests
- Manage and oversee the day‑to‑day Fund Accounting function and Analyst and Associate team members
- Interact with internal clients, stakeholders, external administrators, and auditors
- Handle ad hoc reporting and projects
- Participate in fund setup and operation and respond to internal and investor requests
- Minimum 6-12 years of relevant experience in an Accounting role
- Financial Services experience required
- Asset Management or Alternative Investment industry preferred
- Accounting degree preferred
- CPA preferred
Demonstrates expertise in Fund Accounting, including financial statement preparation, compliance oversight, and team management. Proficient in managing fund operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP standards.
