Medical Receptionist, Front Desk/Receptionist
The Horsham Clinic is a 206‑bed private behavioral healthcare facility located on a beautiful 55‑acre suburban campus in Montgomery County, just minutes from Philadelphia. We serve patients and families from southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey, offering comprehensive behavioral health services for children, adolescents, adults and their families. Our programs include a main campus in Ambler and two satellite partial‑hospitalization programs in Chester County and Delaware County.

Front Desk Receptionist ResponsibilitiesThe Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for all front‑desk operations, including answering calls, greeting patients, families, and visitors, and directing them to their appropriate destination. The role also involves managing the scheduling of patient service coordinators.
Summary of Responsibilities- Consistently meet and manage patient expectations, ensuring the right actions are taken for the right person at the right time.
- Provide care appropriate to the patient's developmental level and needs.
- Maintain awareness of third‑party rules and regulations.
- Adapt to changing needs, conditions, and work responsibilities.
- Show consideration and respond appropriately to the needs and feelings of various individuals.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of receptionist or general office experience.
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience with a multi‑line telephone system and reception in a high‑volume environment.
- Computer literacy (PC, printer, keyboard usage). Must be able to use a computer, printer, typewriter, and office supplies.
- Ability to engage in regular contact with children as part of care.
- Requirement to meet Child Protective Service Act requirements, including a PA State Police criminal background check, an FBI fingerprint‑based federal criminal record check, Child Abuse Clearance, and Act 31 compliance.
