Receptionist role responsible for a friendly, professional greeting to a high volume of visitors and callers. Issues visitor badges, directs visitors to their proper destinations and provides exceptional customer service. Duties include maintaining conference rooms and meeting schedules, training relief receptionist as needed, and providing clerical support to other departments and mailroom services.
Core Responsibilities- Operate multi-line telephone console to route incoming calls and place outgoing local and long distance calls.
- Receive and relay incoming and internal calls; refer messages to appropriate parties.
- Greet clients and visitors, register visitors, issue badges, and announce and direct them to their proper destination.
- Maintain front desk procedure log, master phone list, weekly announcements and new hire kits.
- Receive and direct deliveries.
- Inventory, order, and stock reception break room supplies; keep breakroom and front desk area neat and clean.
- Cover absences and provide support in the mailroom.
- Pull data to create reports as needed.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bilingual – English/Spanish preferred.
- Proficient computer skills, especially Word, PowerPoint & Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Upbeat, personable, and able to interact well with all associates.
- Switchboard experience preferred.
- Experience with SAP and KRONOS preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with a high degree of professionalism.
- Ability to work well with others in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment; respectful, approachable, and team oriented.
