This role involves accurately processing vehicle titles and registrations, ensuring compliance with all Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) regulations for Georgica Auto Holdings.
Job Responsibilities:- Prepare and process all necessary documentation for vehicle titling and registration, including new, used, and wholesale vehicles.
- Verify accuracy of all titles, odometer statements, and other relevant paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with customers, dealerships, and the DMV regarding title and registration status.
- Resolve title discrepancies and issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of all title and registration transactions.
- Stay up-to-date with current DMV laws and regulations.
- Process vehicle lien releases and reassignments.
- Manage and reconcile title inventories.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed within the accounting or sales department.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a DMV Title Clerk, preferably within an automotive dealership.
- Thorough understanding of state and federal titling and registration laws and procedures.
- Proficiency in automotive dealership management systems (e.g., CDK Global, Reynolds & Reynolds).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
