As our installation network continues to expand nationally, we are investing in executive-level compliance leadership to support and scale that growth. We are seeking a Director of Subcontractor Compliance to build, lead, and optimize the systems that onboard, approve, and manage high‑quality exterior remodeling installation partners across all operating markets.
This role will own the compliance strategy, infrastructure, and performance of our subcontractor network. You will lead a team responsible for ensuring every partner meets company standards while driving speed, scalability, and operational excellence. Our rapid sales growth has created more demand than our current network can support — this leader will be instrumental in expanding capacity responsibly while protecting the company from risk.
WhatYou’ll Do
Strategic Leadership & Ownership
Build and lead the national subcontractor compliance department
Develop scalable systems and processes to support multi‑market growth
Establish KPIs, reporting structures, and accountability standards
Drive cross‑functional alignment with Recruiting, Legal, Risk, Finance, and Operations
Compliance & Risk Management
Oversee end‑to‑end onboarding and credentialing of subcontractors
Ensure all partners meet insurance, licensing, and regulatory requirements
Design standards for COI review, W9 verification, and document validation
Identify risk exposure and proactively implement safeguards
Maintain audit‑ready documentation and compliance tracking systems
Operational Execution
Improve speed‑to‑activation while maintaining strict quality controls
Implement structured follow‑up systems to eliminate onboarding delays
Oversee documentation management within Breezy and internal systems
Analyze bottlenecks and drive continuous process improvement
Team Development
Hire, train, and develop a high‑performing compliance team
Establish clear expectations and performance metrics
Create a culture of ownership, urgency, and attention to detail
5+ years of leadership experience in compliance, vendor management, credentialing, insurance verification, or contractor/vendor onboarding
Experience building or scaling compliance processes across multiple markets
Strong understanding of insurance requirements, risk management, and contractor documentation
Proven ability to lead teams in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments
Strong operational mindset with systems‑thinking capability
Exceptional organization and attention to detail
High level of ownership and accountability
Clear, confident communicator able to work cross‑functionally
Construction, home improvement, or contractor compliance experience strongly preferred
