Job Summary
Lead the analytics and reporting team for the U.S. environment of the Strategic Sourcing Groups (SSG). Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to staff while ensuring accurate and actionable analytics for sourcing savings, supplier spend, and performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities- Assign responsibilities and evaluate results of the Analytics and Reporting team.
- Develop, assign, and monitor plans to ensure completion of goals and objectives.
- Resolve escalated issues by conferring with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage key relationships with internal teams (e.g., sourcing, finance) and external stakeholders for effective performance metrics and sourcing reporting.
- Support development and implementation of Knowledge Management deliverables within the U.S. environment.
- Track and report sourcing savings against SSG savings targets, working closely with U.S. Finance to translate cash savings into P&L savings.
- Analyze supplier spend and identify material savings opportunities in collaboration with sourcing teams, business, and finance.
- Monitor targeted supplier spend data to support category focus for SSG.
- Validate sourcing protocol reports, savings models, and methodology, ensuring baseline verification for accurate reporting.
- Escalate and resolve pertinent issues to protect TD Bank’s interests.
- Manage research and analysis of new reporting requirements.
- Monitor actual results, highlight reporting exceptions, and oversee measurement of client satisfaction for SSG.
- Provide data extracts, queries, and analytical support to stakeholders as required.
- Participate in delivery of Knowledge Management functions to the SSG teams in the U.S.
- 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of related sourcing experience.
- Excellent financial analysis and management reporting skills.
- Ability to analyze large volumes of information and financial data to develop concise findings for recommendation to stakeholders and/or management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong mindset of value‑add contribution and continuous process improvement.
- Ability to work in a dynamic changing environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Access and other database software.
- Knowledge of procurement systems (e.g., Accounts Payable) and experience with supplier spend/relationship an asset.
