Position Summary
The Associate Director, Customer Insights & Engagement leads brand analytics and insight-generation for the U.S. Neuroscience business.
Key Responsibilities- Own the brand analytics agenda for a Neuroscience launch brand; track performance vs. launch goals and explain what drives volume/share.
- Integrate and synthesize data across APLD, IQVIA, Symphony/SHS, claims, specialty pharmacy/hub, patient chart data, and Brand Impact into a single brand performance view.
- Build/maintain predictive models and dashboards (TRx/NBRx trends, demand planning, decile-based targeting effectiveness, persistency/adherence, payer mix impact).
- Lead quarterly and ad hoc brand performance reviews; diagnose variances vs. forecast and recommend resource reallocation across channels, segments, and geographies.
- Define and track KPI framework (metrics, targets, reporting cadence) and evolve as the brand matures.
- Commission targeted primary/secondary market research when existing data is insufficient.
- Map end-to-end HCP/patient journey (diagnosis to treatment initiation/adherence) to identify data gaps and make targeting recommendations.
- Partner on AI tool execution (requirements, data-governance guardrails, adoption with Brand teams).
- Collaborate with Commercial Analytics Center of Excellence to standardize methodology/tooling/reporting.
- Partner with Brand, Medical, Sales, and Access to answer business questions and support leadership presentations.
- Represent Customer Insights & Engagement in franchise-level forums; champion continuous improvement; transition toward an enterprise analytics playbook.
- 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech brand analytics, commercial analytics, or demand planning; neuroscience/psychiatry/CNS experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s required;
Master’s/MBA/PhD preferred. - Familiarity with AI-enabled analytics tools in a commercial setting.
- Ability to synthesize secondary and claims/real-world data into leadership-ready insights.
- Stakeholder management without formal authority.
- Proficiency with IQVIA, Symphony/SHS, APLD, claims, and modern analytics/BI tools.
- Strong written/verbal communication; strategic, customer-first, AI-forward, enterprise mindset.
