Senior Clinical Trial Physician, Neuroscience
We are looking for a highly experienced physician to lead the design, execution, and medical oversight of clinical trials across all phases. The role is performed within Clinical Development, the global team that drives our drug discovery and advancement from concept to market.
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary source of medical accountability and oversight for clinical trials.
- Manage Phase 1 through Phase 3 studies, making critical decisions on study conduct and scientific strategy.
- Provide medical and scientific expertise to cross‑functional teams and maintain oversight of protocols, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead medical data reviews, including eligibility and serious adverse event assessments in partnership with Clinical Scientists.
- Collaborate on protocol development, offering medical strategic input on inclusion/exclusion criteria and safety considerations.
- Maintain compliance with GCP, fulfill regulatory obligations, and complete required training.
- Design and develop clinical plans and protocols in alignment with regulatory and disease strategy targets.
- Conduct study execution support, including site activation, enrollment monitoring, and compliance with protocol violations.
- Build and nurture relationships with principal investigators and thought leaders to inform study design and emerging science.
- Represent the company in key Health Authority interactions and advisory board meetings.
- Author clinical content for regulatory submissions, CSRs, and briefing books.
- Medical Doctor (MD) required (or equivalent U.S. qualification).
- Minimum 3 years of industry and/or clinical trial experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in scientific and clinical settings.
- Subspecialty training in a therapeutic area relevant to neuroscience is desired.
- Expertise in the scientific method, including statistical design, analysis, and interpretation.
- Knowledge of the drug development process and clinical plan execution.
- Proven leadership ability to guide and collaborate within a matrix team environment.
- Domestic and international travel may be required.
