The Waldorf School of Princeton seeks a mission-aligned School Administrator, with a start date no later than July 1, 2026, to manage the administrative and health staff and oversee the school’s financial, operational, and administrative functions in support of Waldorf education. The School Administrator will also play a critical role co-managing the operation of Orchard Farm. This leadership role works in collaboration with the Faculty Chair, Faculty Collegium, and Board of Trustees to ensure strong stewardship, effective systems, and a well-functioning campus.
Responsibilities- Financial management: annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial operations;
- Advancement: development (fundraising), enrollment and admissions, marketing/communications, community engagement, and alumni relations;
- HR administration: contracts, hiring, onboarding, benefits, compliance;
- Policy and records management;
- Facilities and campus operations; safety, security, and risk management;
- Implementation of the administrative components of the strategic plan and support for the accreditation process.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- 2-3 years experience; strong financial (or development/fundraising) background in a not-for-profit or educational setting.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills, including familiarity with database management, Google Workspace, and CRM software.
- Personnel management experience.
- Appreciation for Waldorf education.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $95,000–$105,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
