Overview
The Visiting Professionals track of the Center for Information Technology (CITP) fellows' program is designed for professionals—academics and practitioners—who will be on leave from their home institution. The appointment is typically nine months, commencing on or about September 1, 2026, but can start anywhere between May 1, 2026 and February 1, 2027. The candidate will hold the rank of "Visiting Research Scholar" or "Visiting Professional Specialist," depending on experience.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Visiting Research Scholar, the candidate will engage in research, teaching, and collaborative projects within the Center for Information Technology during the appointment period.
Qualifications- Advanced degree such as M.A., Ph.D. or J.D.
- Current appointments must be on leave from another institution for the entire appointment period.
- Documentation from the home institution confirming leave status must be provided.
- The position requires in‑person work on campus at Princeton University.
Salary is dependent on and can be up to the candidate's current full salary at their home institution. The University also offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees.
