Part-Time Upper School Math Teacher (Grade
6)

St. Paul Catholic School, a co-educational PreK–8 parish school in the Diocese of Trenton serving more than 285 students, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Upper School Math Teacher. We are looking for a passionate educator who is committed to helping students develop confidence and proficiency in mathematics while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. The ideal candidate will have strong content knowledge in middle school mathematics, including Pre-Algebra and Algebra I, and demonstrate the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.

Candidates should be collaborative, student-centered, and eager to work as part of a faith-filled community of educators.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based mathematics instruction for students in Grade 6
• Teach middle school mathematics, including Pre-Algebra and Algebra I
• Differentiate instruction to meet the individual learning needs of students
• Assess student progress and communicate effectively with families
• Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and support staff to promote student success
• Support and uphold the mission and values of Catholic education

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• New Jersey Teaching Certification (or eligibility for certification) required
• Teaching experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of middle school mathematics, including Pre-Algebra and Algebra I
• Proficiency with educational technology and classroom technology integration
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
