Lecturer Position

The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Princeton University has an occasional curricular need for lecturers to teach, co-teach, or lead precepts in areas such as engineering fundamentals or other chemical and biological engineering courses, and accepts applications in advance in the event the occasion arises where such lecturers are needed. Any appointments and duty time are subject to enrollments and may be for one or two semesters during the  academic year.

Positions would have an expected start date of September 1, 2026, or January 16, 2027.

Individuals must possess a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a related field and should have experience with teaching and mentoring at the undergraduate level. Successful candidates will attend weekly lectures, be present during lab, lead weekly discussions, hold regular office hours, meet with the course instructor(s), and assist in exam writing and grading as it applies to the course being taught.

Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a related field is required. Experience teaching at the undergraduate level is strongly preferred.
