Water/Wastewater Project EngineerYou will work closely with principal technical professionals and project managers to engage in and deliver the total lifecycle of our clients’ needs, including asset management and planning, assistance with project funding applications, preliminary and final designs, procurement and bid phase assistance, and construction phase services. Candidates must have a strong work ethic and a passion for water/wastewater treatment and facilities.
Experience with municipal water and wastewater unit process treatment, pipeline and treatment plant hydraulics, process mechanical layouts is essential.
Hybrid schedule:
Princeton or Hamilton, NJ; or Philadelphia (Exton), PA offices.
- Provide technical knowledge in Planning (treatment studies, process/hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, permitting and site planning).
- Provide technical knowledge in Design (process design, mechanical design, equipment selection, sizing, layout, chemical feed systems).
- Provide technical knowledge in Construction (bidding assistance, construction administration around submittal reviews, responses to technical RFIs and engineering site inspections).
- Provide technical knowledge in Funding & Permits (assist in preparing applications, respond to review comments, perform closeout assignments).
- Perform condition assessments and basis of design studies.
- B.S. in chemical, civil, environmental or mechanical engineering.
- 6-10 years of civil engineering design experience with a focus on water wastewater treatment facilities design or related experience.
- Previous experience in writing basis of design reports, preparing process mechanical drawings for water and wastewater facilities, preparing engineering estimates of construction costs and technical specifications.
- Strong AutoCAD and BIM (Revit) skills.
- Ability and motivation to obtain Professional Engineering license within one (1) year of required.
- Excellent organizational, communication, computer and technical writing skills.
- Experience with Sewer
GEMS /Water
GEMS / Process treatment modeling (Biowin) preferred. - Membership in AWWA, ASCE, and/or Water Environment Federation or desire to participate preferred.

Salary range: $91,000 - $.
