Senior Mechanical Engineer - Sterilization Systems
Princeton, NJ area | On-site | $120,000 - $135,000 + 15% bonus
The RoleA hands‑on senior engineering role at the heart of the company's expansion plans. You will lead capital projects and engineering activities related to sterilization chamber design, installation, commissioning and qualification as the business scales rapidly.
Key Responsibilities- Lead capital projects for sterilization chamber installations and facility build‑out
- Own mechanical engineering activities across the scale‑up programme
- Develop and execute IQ/OQ/PQ protocols for new equipment and systems
- Manage external contractors, vendors and equipment suppliers
- Work cross‑functionally with R&D, operations and quality
- Maintain GMP compliance across all engineering activities
- 10+ years mechanical engineering experience in a GMP regulated environment
- Experience with sterilization equipment, pressure vessels or capital equipment projects preferred
- End‑to‑end capital project management from design through commissioning and qualification
- FDA, EPA and ISO regulatory familiarity
- Medical device, pharma or life sciences background
