Responsibilities
Design, plan, and oversee the construction of structural components, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards.Collaborate with architects, construction managers, and other engineers to determine project specifications.Conduct site investigations to gather data for planning and design.Prepare technical reports, designs, and drawings using AutoCAD 3D.Perform geotechnical analysis and foundation design.Ensure all projects comply with building codes, regulations, and laws.Mentor and guide junior engineers and other members of the team.Perform risk management and mitigation activities to minimize project delays or cost overruns.Participate in project meetings and provide progress updates, challenges, and solutions.Continuously update knowledge and expertise in structural engineering and construction methodologies.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; a Master's degree is preferred.Professional Engineering (P.E.) license is required. Preferred in New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.Engineer‑In‑Training (EIT) or equivalent certification is a plus.Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in structural engineering.Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D and other relevant engineering software.Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and practices.Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
