Full-Time (Onsite transitioning to Hybrid – 5 days onsite initially, then 3 days onsite)

Four Ways Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Hybrid Infrastructure Engineer to support and modernize enterprise infrastructure environments. This role focuses on hands‑on delivery across virtualization, cloud, and hybrid platforms, ensuring seamless migrations, system performance, and operational efficiency.

As a Hybrid Infrastructure Engineer, you will work on complex infrastructure transformation initiatives, including VMware to Nutanix migrations and Azure cloud deployments. You will be deeply involved in managing Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Citrix platforms, and hybrid cloud integrations. This is a highly technical, execution-focused role where you will actively perform system upgrades, automate processes using Power Shell, and optimize infrastructure performance.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing platforms while maintaining operational stability in enterprise environments.

• Execute VMware to Nutanix migration projects, including planning, testing, and implementation
• Manage and support Azure IaaS environments, including VMs and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
• Administer Windows Server environments and Active Directory services
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Citrix infrastructure and VDI environments
• Perform VMware upgrades, patching, and VM migrations across environments
• Automate routine infrastructure tasks using Power Shell scripting
• Support hybrid infrastructure environments integrating on‑prem and cloud systems
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and ensure high system availability

• 8–12 years of hands‑on experience in infrastructure engineering
• Strong expertise in VMware (vCenter, ESXi, VM migrations, upgrades)
• Solid experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, AVD, virtual machines)
• In-depth knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory
• Proven experience with Citrix environments (VDI and virtualization platforms)
• Strong Power Shell scripting and automation skills
• Ability to work independently in a hands‑on technical role
• U.S. Citizenship or legal eligibility (Green Card)

• Experience with Nutanix platforms and migration tools
• Exposure to hybrid cloud architecture design and implementation
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals in hybrid environments
• Relevant certifications (Azure, VMware, Citrix, or similar)
