Tax Manager

Our client, a highly respected single-family office based in Princeton, NJ is seeking a hands-on Tax Manager with extensive experience in high-net-worth (HNW) individual tax return preparation. This is a unique opportunity to join a seasoned, tight-knit team managing a sophisticated multi-asset portfolio. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual income tax returns for HNW individuals and related grantor trusts
• Develop quarterly tax estimates and detailed income projections
• Review complex K-1s across multi-state entities and coordinate with external preparers
• Analyze trading activity and investment portfolios for tax implications
• Support internal tax deliverables related to personal and investment vehicles
• Partner cross-functionally with investment, legal, and operations teams to improve efficiency

Qualifications:

• 4–6 years of hands-on HNW individual tax return preparation experience
• Strong background in partnership and trust tax
• Experience from a mid-sized accounting firm, private wealth group, or family office preferred
• Proficient with Excel; experience with CCH Pro System or GoSystems is a plus
• Highly organized with strong communication and project management skills
• Ability to handle multiple time-sensitive projects with precision and professionalism
