Senior Tax Manager – Industrial & Consumer Products (ICP)

Senior Tax Manager role within the Industrial & Consumer Products tax practice. The ICP group serves middle-market and upper middle-market companies across manufacturing, distribution, consumer products, food & beverage, wholesale, and related industrial sectors. This role is primarily client-facing and focused on complex federal and multi-state tax compliance and planning, with responsibility for managing engagements and mentoring teams.

• Lead and manage federal and multi-state tax compliance and consulting engagements for ICP clients
• Review complex partnership, S-corporation, and C-corporation returns
• Advise clients on tax planning strategies related to:
• Entity structuring and restructurings
• M&A transactions (buy-side and sell-side)
• Accounting methods and changes
• Inventory, capitalization, and cost-related issues common to M&D businesses
• Serve as primary client contact on assigned engagements
• Manage engagement economics, timelines, and staffing
• Review work papers and returns prepared by Managers, Seniors, and Associates
• Mentor and develop staff and Managers within the ICP tax team
• Collaborate with other service lines (Transaction Advisory, Cost Segregation, SALT, R&D, International, etc.) as needed

• CPA required
• 8+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Strong background in partnership and corporate taxation
• Experience serving manufacturing, distribution, industrial, or consumer products clients
• Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and client relationships simultaneously
• Experience reviewing complex returns and providing planning guidance
• Prior experience at a national or large regional CPA firm preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with business owners and executives
