As a Tax Associate
, you will work with an expert team, receive comprehensive tax training, and enjoy flexibility and growth opportunities. Your day will include client interviews, tax return preparation, and IRS support.

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face‑to‑face and via virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email)
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration
• Grow your tax expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, supportive environment
• Ability to work a minimum of 25‑35 hours weekly during tax season, up to 40 hours during peak weeks

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course
• Experience working in a fast‑paced environment
• Comfort using virtual tools—video, phone, and chat
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must meet all IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent (or higher)

$11.00 – $27.00 per hour. Pay range is posted in compliance with local requirements. Successful candidates may also be eligible for incentive compensation and short‑term incentive plans.
