Job Overview
The Sr. Manager, Commercial FP&A is a highly visible role responsible for financial planning and business partnering within the CNS business unit.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and develop annual budget, latest forecasts, and long-range plan for each product.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
- Analyze, identify & track key operational expenses budget drivers in departments & programs while improving financial planning & providing key financial insights.
- Collaborate with business analytics, market research, and trade team in developing a accurate sales forecast.
- Prepare business cases and conduct NPV/ROI analysis to support new investments and/or strategic initiatives.
- Perform operating expense month‑end accruals and reconciliations.
- Perform complex quarter‑end gross to net analysis and reconciliations.
- Provide detailed analysis and commentary on monthly financial results to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Incorporate and share Financial Stewardship principles across the commercial team.
- Minimum BS degree in Finance/Accounting required, MBA strongly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years industry‑related experience is required.
- 3 years supporting business/commercial organization is required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Knowledge of gross‑to‑net concepts and principles is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively cross‑functionally with all levels of management.
- Proficient with financial systems, such that they can produce accurate and timely financials.
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
- System knowledge of SAP and Essbase a plus.
