Reporting to the Senior Manager, Tax Reporting, the Lead Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Senior Manager in all tax accounting activities. This dynamic role within the tax function will expose the candidate to financial statement reporting, corporate and partnership accounting, tax compliance support, and other projects as necessary.

What You’ll Be Doing- Quarterly and Annual Income Tax accounting/reporting functions.
- Assist in the calculation of income tax provision, footnotes, and disclosures using ASC 740.
- Manage One Source Tax Provision system for the year‑end close process, including administration and software management.
- Prepare tax basis balance sheet studies and return to provision analyses.
- Work with Internal Audit to provide the required documentation for internal control testing purposes.
- Lead State Apportionment calculations to derive the organization’s annual effective tax rate.
- Lead gathering and organizing tax accounting information to support the tax return preparation process of third‑party providers.
- 6+ years of federal, state, and local tax provision/compliance experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related major required.
- Fluency in One Source Tax Provision software, including setup and administration.
- Knowledge and application of FAS 109/ASC 740 Tax Accounting.
- Tax compliance review experience of federal, state, and other jurisdictions, and knowledge of tax preparation software.
- Experience with tax analytic tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, and AI‑related applications.
- Driven self‑starter with a passion for excellence and attention to detail.
- Ability to independently multitask various projects effectively in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
- Industry experience in energy, private equity, or real estate.

The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, relevant and demonstrated experience, education, training and certifications, and other factors permitted by law. This role is eligible to earn an annual cash bonus, subject to personal and company performance goals.
$120,000 - $143,000 USD
