Head of Finance Business Partnering, Convex

We are seeking a commercially minded and forward‑thinking finance professional to lead our Finance Business Partnering function. This role will play a critical part in supporting business performance through financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision support.

• Lead the annual budgeting process and reforecasting cycles
• Deliver financial analysis, scenario modeling, and performance reporting to support strategic decision-making
• Provide forward‑looking insight into business performance, risks, and opportunities
• Monitor key financial and operational performance indicators and provide actionable recommendations

• Partner with business leaders across functions to support commercial decision‑making and performance improvement
• Challenge assumptions, identify opportunities, and provide financial guidance on key initiatives
• Support profitability analysis, investment decisions, and business case development
• Present financial insights clearly to both finance and non‑finance stakeholders

• Coordinate with external tax advisors to support tax compliance, reporting, and planning requirements
• Ensure timely delivery of tax obligations and effective communication with outsourced providers

• Oversee finance systems management, reporting integration, and continuous process improvement initiatives
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, automation, and financial visibility
• Support finance transformation initiatives, including outsourced finance operations and operating model improvements

• Qualified accountant (CPA preferred)
• 10+ years experience across FP&A, finance business partnering, commercial finance, and financial leadership roles
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
• Experience working with outsourced finance providers and external advisors is highly desirable
• Strong finance systems capability, including EPM, reporting tools, and financial planning platforms

• Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills across senior leadership teams
• Ability to translate complex financial information into clear commercial insight
• High level of ownership, accountability, and decision‑making capability
• Strong communication and influencing skills with both finance and non‑finance stakeholders
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, evolving business environment
