The Reinsurance Accounting & Claims Handling Analyst is responsible for the timely and accurate recording of client company contract, premium and loss related information into the Company's global reinsurance systems. Requires the ability to work with and analyze client reported data received in various levels of detail and formats.

• Creating new treaty and facultative losses
• Determining and posting proper reserves
• Processing payment transactions (incoming and outgoing) in accordance with contract terms
• Contract coverage research and interpretation
• Research and reconciliation of financial matters
• Maintain current accounts receivable
• May prepare result dependent condition calculations
• Resolve quality assurance tasks or questions
• Participate in quarter close process
• Participate in projects when needed

Successful candidates will possess the following skills/capabilities:

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or equivalent experience.
• Strong attention to detail, time management and decision-making skills
• Ability to apply judgement and problem solving skills to address moderately complex issues.
• Interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, relationships and teamwork
• Solid math and analytic skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications. Data manipulation and analysis. Excel required.

The Company is open to considering candidates in Princeton, NJ. The salary range posted below applies to the Company's Princeton location. The base salary range anticipated for this position is $54,000–$56,000 plus opportunity for company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay. In addition, the company makes available a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401(k) match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).

The salary estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired in this position in Princeton, NJ. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the range.
