One to One ISCBS Direct Support Professional

Overview

Golden Heart Advocacy specializes in providing one-on-one direct care services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a Golden Heart team member, our goal is to provide the highest quality of service with compassion, empathy, and empowerment.

Princeton, NJ;

Schedule:

Saturday, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM and Sunday 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM;
Job Type: Part-time;
Compensation: $25.00 per hour;
Benefits: PTO & Sick Time. Additional opportunities: part-time, full-time, new assignments added daily.

• Provide one-on-one support during community and recreational activities.
• Offer verbal reminders and guidance throughout daily routines.
• Provide hands-on assistance with personal hygiene as needed.
• Provide support with identified dietary restrictions and medications administration as needed.
• Support the individual in safely experiencing and engaging in community activities.
• Encourage and participate in preferred activities, including listening to music on his iPad (Hip-Hop, kids’ stations on iTunes, and Barney soundtracks), swimming at the YMCA, taking walks, long car rides and drive-through car washes, visiting McDonald’s, and enjoying hamburgers.

Required:

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive individuals in the community.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability for day shifts.
• Ability to commute to Princeton, NJ.

Preferred:

• 1+ years of direct support experience.

$25.00 per hour
