Iris's client, a leader in the insurance domain, is looking to hire a strong Integration Architect for a contractual opportunity of 18 Months.

Role Overview
The Integration Architect defines and governs enterprise integration standards across AWS, Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and on‑prem systems. The role builds scalable integration blueprints, reusable patterns, and secure connectivity frameworks, ensuring reliable and domain‑aligned data exchange. This position partners with domain teams, platform engineering, API management, and enterprise architecture to enable efficient, consistent delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesStandards & Governance Integration
- Define enterprise standards for APIs, event schemas, messaging, and integration contracts.
- Establish governance across AWS, Azure, MS Fabric, and on‑prem platforms.
- Create patterns for ADS alignment, data contracts, schema evolution, and anchor key management.
- Enforce enterprise security: OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, TLS, Zero‑Trust.
- Develop unified architecture blueprints across cloud and on‑prem.
- Build cross‑domain integration flow maps, API patterns, and event‑driven reference models.
- Align all integration patterns with Unified Architecture.
Reusable Patterns & Enablement
- Deliver reusable patterns for AWS (API Gateway, Event Bridge, Lambda, etc.), Azure (APIM, Functions, Service Bus, ADF, etc.), MS Fabric (Data Factory, Lakehouse), and on‑prem (MQ, MFT).
- Provide templates for API contracts, event schemas, error handling, observability, and resiliency.
Metadata, ADS & Anchor Key Integration
- Embed ADS rules, domain ownership, lineage, and anchor key management into integration designs.
- Ensure all integrations maintain security, observability, and cross‑domain interoperability.
Domain Engagement & Architecture Review
- Guide domain teams on implementing target‑state architectures.
- Lead architecture reviews for APIs, events, and platform integrations.
- Recommend modernization from legacy systems to event‑driven/API‑first models.
Qualifications
- 8–12+ years in integration architecture, API engineering, or event‑driven/hybrid integration.
- Strong hands‑on experience with AWS, Azure, MS Fabric, SQL/RDBMS, and on‑prem integration tools (MQ, MFT, REST/SOAP).
- Deep understanding of ADS, anchor keys, data contracts, and lineage‑aware integration.
