Position Summary
Support Cognizant’s GIS Transformation Program for the client, focusing on Esri Utility Network migration, GIS modernization, and cloud-based integrations on Microsoft Azure. Act as a liaison between client stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and Esri best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Solution Delivery
- Implement GIS design standards, symbology, and configuration baselines for ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and Utility Network.
- Data Management
- Maintain and manage utility network datasets in ArcGIS Pro, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Configure and update electric circuit subnetworks, connectivity rules, and network topology.
- Migration & Integration
- Collaborate on migration from ArcFM and Small world to Esri UN; ensure seamless integration with ADMS/OMS, EAM, CIS, and BI systems.
- Analysis & Support
- Perform advanced network tracing and spatial analysis to support fault isolation and maintenance planning.
- Client Interaction
- Participate in client workshops; provide technical expertise during design and implementation phases.
- Governance
- Support agile delivery governance using Azure Dev Ops and Smartsheet for tracking and reporting.
- 8–12+ years in utilities consulting; 3–5 years in GIS transformation projects.
- Strong proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, Esri Utility Network, and GIS data modeling.
- Experience with network topology, connectivity rules, and subnetwork management.
- Familiarity with cloud-based GIS solutions and enterprise integration.
- Prior experience with similar IOUs.
- Knowledge of ArcFM, Small world, and Esri UN web services.
- Exposure to DER/grid modernization initiatives.
- Ability to lead small teams and manage client expectations effectively.
- Willingness to travel extensively as client needs require.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or master’s strongly preferred.
Work Authorization:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
Applications will be accepted until February 10th, 2026. The annual salary for this position is between $81,450.00 – $ depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
Incentives:
