The Impact You Will Have
  • Guide customers through modernization of their infrastructure, including data centers and public cloud.
  • Help customers build hybrid infrastructures for AI workloads, legacy workloads, security, resilience, and governance.
  • Collaborate with account teams to develop and set in motion advanced data‑center, AI, storage, hybrid‑cloud, and network solutions.
Who You Will Be Working With
  • Report to the Modern Infrastructure Sales Leader, accountable to the business at Softchoice.
  • Work with strategic customers modernizing their infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects and Technical Architects to bring technical acumen early in the sales cycle.
  • Partner with account executives, sales leadership, and GTM team members.
What you will do
  • Grow and develop hybrid IT solutions and services that include data center, networking, public cloud, professional services, and managed services.
  • Leverage the Challenger Sales methodology and insights‑driven sales processes to customize solutions for customer needs.
  • Collaborate with district sales teams and leaders to acquire new opportunities within targeted accounts.
  • Build and maintain account and market penetration plans.
  • Lead opportunities from assessing customer needs through closing deals.
  • Engage pre‑sales and internal support for end‑to‑end service.
  • Nurture strategic relationships with key hybrid IT partners and vendors.
What You Bring To The Table
  • 10+ years of experience successfully selling technology solutions in dedicated sales or technical pre‑sales roles.
  • Extensive experience aligning business objectives with technology requirements.
  • Proven track record driving sales for legacy infrastructure environments.
  • In‑depth knowledge of Cisco product lines related to modern infrastructure.
  • Strong expertise in data center, hybrid cloud, and public cloud models (Azure, AWS, Google).
  • Ability to build relationships with customer decision makers involved in modernization efforts.
  • Ability to manage relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Exceptional communication skills, especially in conveying complex infrastructure concepts.
  • Demand generation capabilities focused on proactive selling.
  • Documented success in developing sales for managed and professional services.
  • Creative, strategic thinker with client‑focused service approach.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% within sales district.
Pay Range

Base pay plus incentives: NYC $112,000 – $175,000;
Massachusetts $111,880 – $167,840;
Connecticut & New Jersey $110,000 – $150,000.
