About the Role:

The Mission of the Agile Program Management Organization is to provide an effective division-wide framework for identifying, prioritizing, and successfully executing the Portfolio of Initiatives and Projects, delivering the highest possible value to our customers, and promoting a culture of continuous learning and relentless improvement.

Responsibilities and Impact
  • Lead cross‑functional team and conduct end‑to‑end project management for IT and business initiatives, including software implementations, infrastructure upgrades, and system integrations across multiple business units.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including business owners, developers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships while maintaining adherence to project management methodologies and governance frameworks, including Agile and SAFE.
  • Drive risk assessment and mitigation strategies, proactively identifying potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication through regular meetings and status reporting, executive briefings, and change management activities to ensure transparency and buy‑in.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, mentor junior project team members, and contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and best practices across the organization.
  • Support compliance, governance, and regulatory alignment within Agile delivery workflows.
  • Analyze current workflows and processes, recommending and implementing improvements. Drive adoption of best practices in project and program management.
Compensation and Benefits Information (US only)

Base salary range: $125,000 to $160,000, depending on location, experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. Eligible for an annual incentive plan. Eligible for S&P Global benefits. For more information, visit

What We’re Looking For Basic

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably in a technical environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross‑functional or cross‑organizational programs/projects.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile (Scrum, Kanban), and/or SAFE frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern enterprise IT infrastructure.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (ADO, Confluence, MS Office, SharePoint).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
  • Experience with risk management, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership in driving teams toward successful project outcomes.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate across teams and leadership levels.

Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certified.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification.
  • Experience with Agile and SAFE frameworks, worked on projects using agile methods.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments and requirements.
  • Experience in a global, matrixed organization.
