HANA ABAP Lead (Landscape & Transport Management)

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior SAP S/4

HANA ABAP Lead with strong expertise in Landscape Management, Transport Management, and Retrofit processes to support a complex ECC to S/4

HANA dual-landscape environment (N N+1). The ideal candidate will act as the technical owner for code synchronization, release governance, and conflict resolution between ECC and S/4

HANA systems.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary technical contact for N (ECC) and N+1 (S/4

HANA) landscape strategy, ensuring smooth, automated transport movement across environments.
Perform code retrospectives and synchronization of changes between N and N+1 tracks, identifying conflicts and retrofitting enhancements using SAP Solution Manager tools (e.g., Revtrac, ChaRM).
Design and develop custom solutions in S/4

HANA using modern ABAP technologies: CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services, Fiori, and ensure full compliance with S/4

HANA standards.
Manage complex transport dependencies and retrofit processes to ensure code deployed in production is accurately retrofitted into the S/4

HANA environment in a timely manner.
Analyze, document, and resolve technical issues arising from differences between ECC and S/4

HANA environments, maintaining high quality and stable code.
Collaborate with functional teams (SD, MM, FI, etc.) to resolve object conflicts and maintain detailed documentation for audit and historical reference.
Oversee Release Governance and ensure seamless integration of changes across the dual landscape.
Required Technical

Skills & Qualifications

Strong expertise in ABAP on HANA, including CDS Views, AMDP, BADIs, Enhancements, and Code Modifications.
Hands-on experience with S/4

HANA Fiori, OData Services, and Embedded Analytics.
Extensive experience in Transport Organizer (SE01/SE09/SE10) and Retrofit processes in SAP Solution Manager (Revtrac / ChaRM preferred).
Deep understanding of dual landscape management (ECC S/4

HANA migration/parallel track support).
Experience working across multiple SAP modules: SD, MM, FI.
Strong knowledge of S/4

HANA technical standards and clean core principles.
Experience in Release Management, Change Management, and Code Synchronization in large-scale SAP implementations.
