- The One Source Tax Determination Administrator and Support Specialist – One Source Administrator works under the supervision of the Director, Corporate Systems and is responsible for the technical support, administration, and operational stability of the Thomson Reuters One Source Tax Determination SaaS application. This role focuses on IT-owned responsibilities, including system access, integrations (with Oracle R12, EB Tax), security, incident management, vendor coordination, and change management.
- The position serves as the primary IT point of contact for the One Source platform, ensuring application availability, performance, and compliance with corporate IT and regulatory standards. This role will also perform tax data maintenance, master data maintenance and configuration of business rules. The specialist partners closely with tax and finance stakeholders to support the underlying technology, integrations, and platform controls that enable business operations.
- The role also collaborates with external vendors, internal infrastructure teams, and the Information Systems compliance team to support releases, upgrades, validation activities, and incident resolution in a controlled and traceable manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience supporting One Source Tax Determination application integrated in an Information System landscape including knowledge of the Oracle R12 integration with EB Tax.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), system testing, and change control processes.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage users, developers, and business leaders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new enterprise systems.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, FDA validation, or similar) desirable.
