Akkodis is seeking a Technical Support Specialist for a 12+ Contract position with a client located in Princeton, NJ

Pay Range: $30/hr - $31/hr (The rate may vary based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Position Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day technical support for the One Source Tax Determination application, including incident triage, issue escalation, and coordination of resolutions.
  • Serve as the IT owner for One Source Tax Determination, managing system availability, performance monitoring, and access to the application.
  • Administer user access, role provisioning, and deprovisioning in accordance with security and compliance standards.
  • Support single sign-on (SSO), authentication, and security‑related configurations in collaboration with identity and security teams.
  • Support and monitor integrations between One Source and upstream/downstream enterprise systems including Oracle R12 (e.g., ERP, data feeds, reporting tools).
  • Troubleshoot integration failures, identify root causes, and coordinate resolution with vendors and internal technical teams.
  • Identify issues that may reside on the EB Tax side in Oracle R12
  • Partner with business and vendors during integration changes, upgrades, or new interface implementations.
  • Act as the primary IT liaison with the Thomson Reuters for support cases, incidents, and escalations.
  • Review SaaS release documentation and release notes to assess IT impacts, risks, and required actions.
  • Coordinate technical testing, regression testing support, and validation activities related to vendor releases and patches.
  • Ensure all changes related to One Source follow established change management, validation, and documentation processes.
  • Support risk assessments for system changes and releases, identifying technical impacts and mitigation actions.
  • Maintain system documentation, including architecture diagrams, integrations, configuration records, and support procedures.
  • Collaborate with the IS compliance team to ensure adherence to SOX, internal quality policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Partner closely with Tax, Finance, and Compliance stakeholders to support the technology enabling One Source, while reinforcing clear business vs. IT ownership boundaries.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects as the IT subject matter expert for the One Source platform.
  • Provide technical guidance during audits, inspections, and internal reviews related to One Source system controls.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience supporting One Source Tax Determination application integrated in an Information System landscape including knowledge of the Oracle R12 integration with EB Tax.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), system testing, and change control processes.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, FDA validation, or similar) desirable.
Education
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, or Information Technology
