The Sr. Manager, the Solution Delivery Partner, is a dynamic role that combines the expertise of a project manager and a business analyst. This position will work closely with the IT Business Partner to assess and drive implementation and adoption of technology solutions. The role will focus on initiatives such as proof of concepts or SaaS solutions coordinating across various shared services groups within IT and other functions.

The Solution Delivery Partner will work closely with the Business Partner on stakeholder management and change management.

Core Responsibilities
  • Business Case Development:
    Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives. Develop and document comprehensive business cases that outline the benefits, costs, and risks associated with proposed solutions.
  • Business Analysis:
    Conduct detailed analysis to understand business processes and identify areas for improvement. Gather and document requirements, ensuring they align with business goals.
  • Proof of Concept and Prototypes Assessment:
    Perform Proof of Concept or prototype projects to determine feasibility, potential impact, and alignment with business objectives. Provide recommendations based on assessment outcomes to guide decision-making.
  • Project Management:
    Lead and manage projects from inception to completion. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, identify risks, provide progress updates, and support stakeholder communications. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions. Work with business stakeholders to plan, coordinate and support UAT and defect resolutions.
  • Solution Delivery:
    Work with technical teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements and with the testing team. Ensure solutions are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with industry best practices and technology strategies.
  • Project Documentation:
    Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, system documentation, and post‑implementation reviews.
  • Process Expertise:
    Possess strong business processes and IT capability awareness to ensure optimal solution decisions to align technology with business priorities.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience with a minimum of 5 years of Life Sciences experience required, and with 3+ years in supporting specific function area(s) in an IT customer facing role.
  • Insights and knowledge of leading technology trends and best practices which are improving the processes and strategic decision making in supported areas.
  • Working knowledge of key processes within the relevant business area and various regulations governing the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Broad business and IT capability awareness with hands on experience using or implementing functional area specific applications.
  • Experience working with globally distributed business and IT teams, especially in Japan, EU and India.
  • Superior business analyst skills including process design, documentation, problem solving, and presentation skills with the ability to influence, drive action with all levels including senior leadership with demonstrated executive presence.
  • Organizational change management, issues & conflict management, business‑technology innovation and transformation experience.
  • Multiple successes in delivering new capabilities using system development life cycle (SDLC) practices.
  • Up to 20% travel is required, based upon business needs.
Educational Qualifications

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree; preferably, a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or adjacent fields. Advanced degree in sciences, business administration, or pharmaceuticals is desirable.

Compensation

Minimum $ – Maximum $, plus incentive opportunity. The range shown represents a typical pay range or starting pay for individuals who are hired in the role to perform in the United States. Other elements may be used to determine actual pay such as the candidate’s job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in role. Typically, actual pay will be positioned within the established range, rather than at its minimum or maximum.
