RoleDev Secops Business Analyst
Location:
Princeton, NJ – 100% ONSITE FROM DAY 1
Duration: 6 months

Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with engineering, platform, and Info Sec teams to gather and document requirements for Dev Sec Ops initiatives.
- Translate business needs and security requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
- Support definition of Dev Sec Ops processes including CI/CD, security integration, and developer workflows.
- Analyze current tooling landscape and identify gaps, redundancies, and improvement opportunities.
- Support toolchain rationalization initiatives and documentation of approved tools and standards.
- Assist in defining governance frameworks including access controls, compliance requirements, and audit processes.
- Work with architects and engineers to define user journeys, workflows, and system interactions.
- Support development of documentation including BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process flows.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirement validation sessions.
- Strong understanding of Dev Sec Ops , CI/CD pipelines, and developer experience platforms.
- Good knowledge of secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) and governance frameworks.
- Experience in gathering and documenting business and technical requirements for platform and tooling implementations.
- Understanding of developer tooling ecosystems including CI/CD tools, security tooling, and cloud platforms.
- Ability to translate security and compliance requirements into functional and business requirements.
- Strong exposure to Agile methodologies and working with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Familiarity with metrics such as DORA metrics and developer productivity measurements.
- Experience in stakeholder management across engineering, Info Sec, and platform teams.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
